I have been going to the Jerusalem Cafe since I was at least 14 years old. I don't go very often, but every time I go you greet me with "hey it's my Mormon friends!" I don't know how you remember the last conversation we had 6 months ago, but you do and always give me a sense of hospitality when I come by. I love bringing people to your restaurant, because I know they will always be treated with respect and kindness. Thank you for having such great personalities, and enthusiasm every time I stop by!

One of the best foods I ever had. The taste, atmosphere and ambiance is great. I would highly recommend anyone to go and have a great time at this restaurant. I always have a great time.

A few years ago, I visited your restaurant with my two sisters and a friend. As we were on our way to the restaurant, one of my sisters and I were in a car accident. We both had minor injuries but were determined to visit you!

I can't remember the name of the brother that not only waited on us, but brought me an ice pack for my knee, and made sure we were not totally out of our minds! (That's still up for debate.)

I didn't realize you had a website, so when searching for your cafe, found it and thought I'd write and thank you. I hope to see you in June!

Kaleb, my son, and I enjoyed your warm hospitality, too. We've both been to Israel. We have friends living in Nazareth who are coming to visit Portland this summer. We plan to bring them to dinner and introduce them to you.

Always top quality fresh vegtables and meats. Clean, pleasant enviroment. soft background music. The best service. This family knows how to treat customers.

For the best grilled kabobs, especially the lamb and kafta, go to the downtown restaurant. The father is the best there on the special grill they have. He also makes the best falafal.

We have our favorites which we keep going back for the last 10 years. Been enjoyable watching a family business succeed with hard work and quality.

I cannot ever come up with enough of the right words to define the Downtown Jerusalem Cafe. Our family has made your restaurant our #1 choice for family celebrations and special events. The food is exquisite and the pricing is so reasonable. But just as important are the friendliness and hospitality you always show to us. It doesn't matter if we bring in 2 or 25 friends with us, you are always cheerful, quick and just plain fun to be around. Keep up the great cooking and the hilariously strange humor. Coming to your place is like coming home.
